Zumba Fitness Everett - April 24
Join Dr. Cherita Raines, a certified Zumba® instructor, as she shares this fun way to get active with Everett Clinic patients and teammates! Dr. Raines became a Zumba instructor because, as a physician, she believes in practicing what she preaches. Doing something we enjoy and making fitness an integral part of our daily routine leads to happier, healthier lives.
Zumba is an aerobic dance activity inspired by Latin dance steps and incorporating world rhythms, hip-hop, pop and more. Take the "work" out of your workout with this energizing blend of cardio, strength, balance and flexibility training.
Tips for enjoying this free class:
- Wear comfortable workout attire and bring a water bottle and towel.
- Shoes optimally should have a flat sole (as oppose to running shoes) since we will be moving on the carpet.
- Don't stress about getting the steps right the first time—just have fun, and get moving!
- If it's been awhile since you've exercised or if you have any health issues or concerns, please talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise routine.
If it is your first time attending class, please print and sign a waiver and bring it with you to class. Registration is required.
