Dr. Laura Macleod, PhD, a behavioral health specialist at The Everett Clinic discusses chronic conditions. Many things that we go to the doctor for, aren't easily cured, but can be managed. Managing chronic conditions can be difficult, but making small, permanent changes can be very powerful. Setting small goals is part of a behavioral change plan. When you take on, too much, too fast, it often will not be maintainable. Being accountable to someone can also make a big difference. Don't dwell on mistakes instead focus on the positive changes you have made.
