Biography
I wanted to be a doctor from a very young age. When I was a child, and throughout college, I played the violin, and the thing I enjoyed most about it was the way it allowed me to use my hands. Urology is a subspecialty of surgery, and it appealed to me because it combined the hands on nature of surgery with the more traditional aspects of medicine listening to patients in a one on one setting and developing a treatment plan tailored to their needs. Whether I'm performing a surgery for kidney cancer or treating someone with kidney stones, there will be long term follow up care involved which allows me to develop a personal relationship with them over time. This is one of the key things I love about my career.
