Peter Jiang, MD
“My focus is on making my patients feel better and live well, so I will try whichever options are in their best interests.”
I enjoy working with my patients and having close contact with them. We often form trusted relationships and our life experiences intermingle: their life is part of my life, and my life is part of their life. I am open-minded when it comes to non-traditional therapies. My focus is on making my patients feel better and live well, so I will try whichever options are in their best interests. In many cases, we cannot cure the disease, but we would work together striving for a life as fuller as possible with the cancer. I always get touched when my patients tell me “I have reached another milestone or goal in my life”.
I participate in clinical trials to improve our treatment strategies. We offer cutting edge cancer therapies such as immunotherapy, genomic directed precision or targeted therapy, biologics, oral and infusional chemotherapies. In addition, I actively participate in the National Comprehensive Cancer Network's treatment guidelines to enhance clinical treatment planning.
I have published extensively in the field of Hematology and Oncology with over 70 publications, presentations, and have lectured internationally.
I like to write on a range of topics from as serious as stem cell transplant for cancer therapy, to raising children and college prep, to as leisure as poetry (all available on Amazon.com). I like hiking with my wife and dog (a golden-doodle).
Medical Director for the Oncology and Hematology services, Providence Regional Cancer Care Partnership.
Why The Everett Clinic?
The medical services at The Everett Clinic facilitate uniquely efficient cancer care. I have easy access to other medical specialties. We have a team of medical, radiation and surgical oncologists working together closely, and with integrative providers (naturopathy, acupuncturists, patient support services), which allows me to provide the most up-to-date cancer care to my patients.
