Research often links mental health issues to young people’s online activities and behaviors. Help your children connect wisely in this rolling six-session group with topics such as:
- Texting challenges: Misunderstandings, problems and resolution strategies
- Social media: Privacy, feeling left out and identifying real friends
- Mean on the screen: Bullying, drama and thoughtlessness
- Moving forward: Being kind, getting unplugged and parenting tips
Networked Kids is generally designed for patients between 4th and 8th grade who is dealing with anxiety, depression or ADHD. Caregivers are encouraged to be present.
